2025 - A year that shaped me as a WordPress developer & as a person.

At the start of 2025, I had moderate knowledge of WordPress and only a few completed projects. Before that, I came from a MERN stack background and genuinely loved coding — seeing results after running code always felt special.

But reality teaches you different lessons.

Working alone on a takeaway website made me realize that building large MERN projects within short timelines wasn’t practical. That’s when I explored alternatives — and WordPress slowly became my professional path.

What started as a practical choice became my core skill.

In 2025, I joined a company as a WordPress developer. I handled projects independently at first, and even after the team grew, I continued taking full responsibility — from client discussions to development, revisions, and delivery.

By the end of the year, I had completed 30+ websites, managed multiple projects, worked directly with clients, explored SEO practices, and faced real-world challenges like rejections and unfinished projects.

Mentally, the year was tough.

Deadlines, responsibility, and financial pressure affected my peace more than the workload itself. Living in Kochi on a fixed salary wasn’t easy — freelancing helped me continue, even though it was inconsistent. Still, 2025 changed me. I became more disciplined, calmer, and confident enough to take ownership of projects end-to-end. Today, I confidently identify as a WordPress developer. Returning to MERN doesn’t align with my current goals — WordPress helps me deliver faster and turn ideas into reality.

I’m proud of my career growth, mental strength, and not quitting when things felt uncertain.

In 2026, my focus is clear: financial stability, freelancing growth, and building my own ideas.

2025 didn’t give me comfort — it gave me clarity, confidence, and direction.
